With all the things I've been busy doing lately I wasn't going to enter the Penscrappers contest this month. I loved the kit by Anna Aspnes and did download it a few weeks ago. Over the past few weeks I've been doing the Tablet class at Jessica Sprague and she challenged us to enter the contest and she would give one person an Intuos 3 tablet - so of course I had to give it a go.
So here is my layout - you can vote for me here. Please vote!
I found this fun photo effects site today: Photo505 Bit of fun. So am I Team Edward or Team Jacob, lol?
I've been doing Project 365 this year and so far I've managed to take a photo every day. I'm using this as an opportunity to practise using actions and other things on my photos. I absolutely love the actions from CoffeeShop - they are the best! I'm going to try out some textures soon too when I find the right photo. All my photos are on my Flickr webpage but here's some of January's pics.
While browsing the net the other day I found this fun site called Tilt-Shift Maker.
You can upload photos and it will manipulate them so that look like models. Its kinda fun and some mindless entertainment for a few minutes. Here's a few I did:
My original picture of downtown Auckland taken from the Birkenhead ferry:
And here's the Tilt-Shift version:
Isn't that cool? Here's another pic - this time with people in it: Daryl and Isla sailing (original).
And here's the Tilt-Shift version:
I don't think that one's so good. It seems to work best on scenic pictures especially with buildings or vehicles etc in them. I really like the first one though.
